And once positioned, the caster provides rear access to a retractable ratchet handle used to lower the foot pad. FOOT MASTER engineers invented the ORIGINAL leveling caster in 1989, setting the standard for performance and durability. The GDR Series leveling caster profile is integral to its function. GDR-60-F-HUP-PUS is rated at 250 kg with an overall height of 82 mm. This ingenious product combines the mobility of a caster, the height adjustability of a level mount, and the stability of a foot pad. As the wheel is lifted off the ground, the foot pad takes over to make the application completely stationary. A thick aluminum frame is used to achieve the combination of being both strong and compact. Up to 10 mm of height adjustment capability is available for an accurate level set. When it is time to move again, simply raise the foot pad to restore the freedom of mobility.
