KellyAnne Terry grew up on a horse ranch in Montana and has had an artistic side all her life. Artist: Vintage Gypsy Subject: Abstract Style: Mid-Century Modern Product Type: Gallery-Wrapped Canvas Art This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features an abstract scene showing colorful lines and tiles. KellyAnne gains inspiration from nature, travel, and other cultures, and likes to include lots of texture and movement in her pieces. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Originally starting in graphic design, KellyAnne became charmed with the aspects of weathered objects, antique pictures and patterns, ephemera, and vintage books. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. She currently lives in Montana with her husband and two children. From there she began to include mixed media elements in her designs, largely focusing on what she calls modern vintage. Her abstracts definitely reflect this as well as the many vignettes she imagines with paper and paint.
